Matthew Blum's home page

I have been in California for almost three years now. I am developing CRM software for
Oracle Corporation in Redwood City, CA.

I am involved with Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto, where I am part of the Young Adult Fellowship.

During my free time, I enjoy traveling. I also enjoy photography. Photos and memories are one of my treasures - you can browse through some photo albums online at webshots.com.

I served on a mission trip last fall to Mexico City with a group from Peninsula Bible Church. Our group went to do prison ministry, donate clothes and medical supplies, and to go into some of the villages. I've posted a trip report here.

I also did a two week study tour of Israel and Jordan last spring during March 3-17, 2001 through my church. It was a special experience where the stories from the Bible suddenly became very real to me. I have my own story of the experience here. I have many pictures on my online photo albums. I hope to be able to go back someday. We were fortunate enough to go right before the violence broke out and be able to see everything.

Before I came to California, I went to college at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA, where I completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as a Master's degree in Computer Science.
